When I sat down with Savannah in Milagro’s coffee shop, I felt as if I had fallen right into a rom-com as she told me about her and Josh’s sweet story
(of course I’m like that side line character who has one line and then she’s out of the movie, but that one line is pretty important okay!). Okay but seriously, I’m talking like some real-life Sweet Home Alabama vibes….you can’t even make this up!
These two met when they were just kids…like grade school. They were playing hide and seek, and they even had their first kiss when they were playing hide and seek! I mean, I don’t know what it is about hide and seek but apparently it works… They went their separate ways for a bit somewhere in between, but as fate would have it, they made their way back to each other. When I met with them to take their engagement photos, it was obvious that they were crazy about each other. Playful and fun. Laughing with each other the whole time. Nothing but sweet smiles and sly glances the whole time. If you don’t believe me, just head on over to this blog post and see for yourself.
Their wedding day was magical, from the horse-drawn carriage to the cozy backyard atmosphere. Savannah had the wedding on her family’s farm and had the perfect blend of southwestern flare and rustic country aesthetic. It was the ultimate backyard wedding with an amazing view of the mountains. She even served churros for dessert and that right there is something I think we should really take a moment to appreciate.
